Dave, do you know what the MEDIAN family income IS in America?

en.wikipedia.org
"In 2006, the median annual household income was $48,201.00 according to the Census Bureau.[3]"

Now, do you know what MEDIAN means?

How many?

Come on. You are a bean counter. Put some numbers to it.

Considering that only about 3% of households report that or more, I suspect the numbers are small.

"150K is MIDDLE CLASS by any reasonable definition over most of the nation."

And Obama agrees with this. So I don't know why you find this figure significant.

"The average person realizes there is more to being rich than having a good year, income-wise."

Spin, dip, weave. Wave the fans.

Right. The plight of the wealthy is something I lose a lot of sleep over. They just aren't content like the poor is. Nor do they have all the advantages and know the joys of meals of Ramen noodles. Or the freedom from air conditioning...
