you took it off first to big entitlement programs (which don't really figure in my list) and then war with Russia I was trying to illustrate that, while your initiatives may be important, the benefits of dealing with them are trivial if they come packaged with a colossal screw up. You are apparently discounting the possibility of a colossal screw up and are hopeful about your favored initiatives. But I see that colossal screw up looming and I would sacrifice all other initiatives to avoid it. I would rather do nothing if that obviates the colossal risk. Losing your initiatives, while unfortunate, is manageable. Disaster is not.
