"The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price."

Right. It was the highest bid he got. Since when was asking price the same as market price?

"Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a strip of her land, so he could have a bigger yard."

Which was appraised at $40k.

"Questioned later about the timing of the Rezko deal, Obama called it "boneheaded" because people might think the Rezkos had done him a favor.""

Yes. It meant pinheads like you could spin it to look like it was a political favor.

"In effect, Obama got a $300K discount for being a politician."

How so? Rezko made a $54k profit off of the deal. If anything, Obama got taken.

The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Rezko's wife paid full price -- $625,000 -- for the adjacent vacant lot.

You claim to be an expert in real estate....of course, you claim to be an expert in everything. However, getting $300K less than your asking price with a property that's priced well over a million is not unusual at all. Nothing suspect at all......you guys are just desperate to find something on a politician who is truly squeaky clean and not your concept of squeaky clean. So sorry.
