I pity my friends (and they are not few) who thought Obama a new kind of candidate with the ability to reach beyond the stale to the new and fresh. They must be simply appalled that out of their whole party (full of Heath Schulers and Chet Edwards), Obama picked Slow Joe Biden. I wonder how this pick is playing among all those college kids who fell head-over-heels for Obama last winter.
