IMO an auto salesman is just as or more loquacious than a realtor (been there, done that). Why couldn't an auto salesman/manager afford that tuition?

Biden, Sr became a realtor with Patterson-Schwartz in 1972 or early 1973. I believe it was a "political" hire, since the Schwartz family has been a major contributor to Biden's campaigns.

In 1971, I moved to Hockessin, New Castle County, Delaware. At that time, Joe Biden was a county councilman and although he was a Democrat, his political stance appeared conservative rather than liberal.

I met Biden on several occasions prior to his 1972 run for and election to the Senate. Monday was his day off during campaigning and one frequently ran into him at a local store.

In 1971 when Biden was a councilman there was some problem with regard to redistricting and where he purportedly resided (a la Wexler?). I have wracked my brain, but cannot remember any details. Since it was over 37 years ago, I doubt it would matter. Although, his first occurrence of plagiarism was in law school occurred in the 60's.

Since Pete du Pont left the Senate, the Delaware Republican party has failed to nominate an electable candidate.

In 1980 I moved to Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania. I don't know where on the east coast you live, but we have had the hottest and driest summer in years. Gas prices certainly have had an impact on tourism.
