I never said US auto makers don't import parts. I'm just not going to have any sympathy for a foreign company if our government chooses a course of action which isn't fair to the foreign companies. It happens all the time. Is it fair that China and Japan keep their currency effectively pegged to ours to make their exports to us cheap?
As I said I'm not for bailing out any company. However my reasons have to do with corporate executives looting companies and then expecting help when they mismanage. The board and management at GM should be thrown out
