Nobody ever asked. But I'm not hiding anything; I've said from the outset he wasn't my choice.

But he, unlike Obama, isn't extreme and in fact is as moderate as any person in Congress. I'm a moderate, he's a moderate, so far, so good.

I believe McCain will bring us a strong national defense, which I believe is the most important single role for a president. He will not allow other countries, including Old Europe, to run over us, and I think he will essentially see through the excellent national security policy of the Bush administration. I believe he would be glad to see the UN gone. I believe he understands the threats we face around the world. It is clear that Obama doesn't. McCain knows you cannot negotiate with your enemies until they are defeated. Obama is totally confused about this matter.

McCain realizes you cannot get your enemies to be nice to you just by being nice to them. When you are nice to your enemies, they run over you and take your freedom.

I also believe he'll be more fiscally conservative than Bush, which to me is a good thing. Of course, Congress controls the purse strings, but I do believe McCain would have vetod some legislation that Bush signed when he shouldn't.

I believe he will appoint strict constructionists and Obama will appoint activists, and I believe judicial activism is responsible for a lot of what's bad in the United States. There has, for the last 200 years, been a persistent liberal bent in the Court that needs persistent backpressure to keep our judiciary from spinning out of control.

So, that's why I'm support McCain. Now, why are you supporting Obama?
