Obambi is running with his father-figure Joe Baden..err, Biden. Sidebar: Joe has always campaigned claiming Irish roots, which gave him a clear cultural advantage in his DE district. However the surname Biden is not Irish. It signifies origins in Baden, Germany which was part of Prussia in the 19thC. Either Joe replanted his family tree for political convenience, or he has emphasized a very narrow limb for the same reason. As often occurs during the course of an election, family history wonks might explore whether Biden has practiced 'truth in advertising' lo these many yrs in congress.
