That is not a picture of Meg Whitman.

-----------------------------------------------

Margaret Cushing "Meg" Whitman[2] (born August 4, 1956)[3] was President and Chief Executive Officer of eBay from March 1998 to March 2008, when she stepped down from her role. She has been a director since March 1998, and continues to serve in that capacity. Ms. Whitman joined eBay when it was a small auction website with 30 employees and revenues of more than $4 million. According to Forbes magazine, Whitman was worth an estimated $1.4 billion in 2007.[1] She is one of only seven women to have been repeatedly ranked among the world's most influential people by Time magazine.[4]

Next time, read the bio link before you pile on, son.

You've posted a photo of Christie Todd Whitman, former Governor of New Jersey. She is, as you indicate, not pro-life, a fact which made her uncomfortable in the Bush Administration as (former) head of the EPA.

Meg Whitman is a different person. She served as member of a Bush Administration Advisory Committee on Trade Relations and Negotiations and earlier this year worked for the Mitt Romney presidential campaign. I assume she's pro-life like he is but don't know that for a fact.

With all that she has achieved as a CEO and business leader, Meg Whitman would make an excellent White House Economic Adviser or Cabinet Secretary. Nadine Carroll correctly points out that Meg Whitman has yet to run for elective office and would therefore not be a good choice for VP in this election. I agree.

Meg Whitman would also carry the taint of her Ebay story, which she has convinced McCain is a pure success story. It was a pure success story five years ago. Since then management arrogance, greed, and general cluelessness have badly alienated their customers and brought growth on the site to a halt.

You know those million eBay sellers McCain talked about? They all hate eBay's guts nowadays, and are looking to make their escape wherever possible.

No, Meg Whitman would be bad news all over. Whoever McCain selects has got to be considered a possible President by the members of the Republican Party. Without making them reach for barf bags.
