I agree. But it is extrapolation. Not historical evidence.

Maybe. However, there is more than a little dispute as to who actually wrote the Gospels. It is pretty certain that several of the Gospels were written by different people than the ones they are named after. Research "the synoptic problem" to get some insight.

Well, to put it delicately, it is a subject in a great deal of dispute. It isn't anywhere close to cut and dried.
