My 2nd son was 1.5 lbs, he lived about 4 hours. His lungs couldn't absorb oxygen( They can fix that problem now) that was 18 years ago

Yeah, I think that's usually the biggest problem they fight. Our good friends had a child that suffered from severe anoxia and while she survived, she has been severely disabled all those years.

That's the irony of bodies.....we can breathe in oxygen but in its pure form, it is poisonous to our blood, and in some cases, even our lungs.
