I always ignore technical analysis. Charts are a record of what has happened, not predictions of what will happen. No technical analyst has ever become very wealthy, although they may get lucky in the short term. Actually the best response is to say, "I don't understand technical analysis." That makes technical analysts feel superior to you and then they let you alone.
