The reason McCain's attack ads are working is because the MSM is so "over the top" for Obama and people realize it.

I think that even people who don't pay a lot of attention to politics are starting to notice that this particular emperor is not wearing a lot of clothes. But for the most part, the MSM are still praising the outfit lavishly.

I think Obama is not so much a candidate here, as he is a canvass, a vast surface for projecting Europe's fondest desires onto America.
And of course, that is projecting dreams and desires.


Sounds like the Old Continent is in love all over again. Europe has a long history of falling in love with their leaders; that's not really an American tradition. Stupid Europeans never learn - they still think that love will cure all ills... and make trains run on time. It's almost embarrassing.
