I dont plan on anything real big short here as I respect what you are saying and did mention in my previous posts about the dark side getting in there again.

I may go 50% of my cash but you know me I dont hang around very long. My stuff is getting pretty bearish here very near term and if we take a good day down that may be when they announce that news.

re bailouts....i would'nt count on any permanant boost for financials here.

fanny and freddie are a complicated pair.

and they are only part of the problems big financials face.

dont forget credit derivatives and consumer credit cards and rates that are not gong down no matter how much the fed lowers borrowing costs.

ps that oil has dropped so so far for a long time now without any big multi day rally is perhaps indicative of the problems facing the market.

its as if lots are selling into any raise.jmho
