Since taking the gavel last year, Pelosi has steered a divided House through an economic stimulus package and opposition to many of President Bush's initiatives, including an override of Bush's veto of the 2008 farm bill. Evidently Pelosi thinks overriding the Presidents veto of this pork laden money give away was a good thing......Only in leftist lala land. We had an opportunity to cut spending here big time, and to do away with subsidies that serve little to no purpose..... Democrats have never met a big gov't solution that they didn't like.... How the hell are they ever going to cut spending when they don't have the guts to cut entitlements?
