Mish, thanks for that piece. I always wondered about that mall they filmed the Blues Brothers indoor chase scene in. It makes sense now, as the mall was closing, so it didn't matter if they smashed it. There was even a car dealer in that mall if I recall the movie. Elwood said something like, "Hey, the new Oldsmobiles are in early this year" or something like that. Oh, here it is: Inside shopping mall, ``Toys R us''. Shop Lady: Will there be anything else? Customer: Yes, do you have a Miss Piggy? [Car speeds through toystore and continues on through the rest of the mall. Two Squad cars follows, the original and a backup.] Jake: Hanson Burgers. Elwood: Yeah. Lots of space in this mall. Jake: Disco dancing hair cuts. Elwood: Yeah. Elwood: Baby clothes. Jake: This place has got everything. Elwood: New Oldsmobiles are in early this year. Elwood: Pier One Imports. Backup Officers: Oh Sh**! [Backup squad car lands on it's roof and stops.] Backup Officer (John Landis): They broke my watch! [First squad car crashes too.] [Jake and Elwood escape through a shop window to outside.] Officer Mount: I'm gonna catch that sucker, if it's the last thing I ever do!
