Your worry is well founded. Republicans have learned that to win presidential elections, you have to portray your opponent in a negative way. Repeat your negative message over and over until a lie becomes an acceptable fact in the minds of many. Moneymade's rant yesterday addresses your concern. Democrats lose elections because they are not willing to play dirty. Obama lost a significant lead in some of the important battleground states because he failed to attack McCain. Instead, he was negatively portrayed by McSame and the results are not pretty for us. Sen. Obama is smart and his campaign's organization is run like a tight ship. Maybe he knows something that we don't that gives him confidence that he will win this election. At least I hope so.
