I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels. That's so sweet. Pelosi thinks that anything with the word "natural" in its name cannot be all bad. What a leadership we already have! What's next?

Short explanation: yes, Nancy Pelosi really is that stupid. Not comforting to know that this maroon is third in line for the Presidency. Several prominent members of the American Catholic hierarchy reacted very forcefully to the outright lies she told about Catholic teachings on abortion. I wonder who she thinks she is fooling? She said on TV that the Church was undecided about when life begins! Even non-Catholics know that is bogus. Even she, stupid as she is, must know that the Church has made itself nothing if not clear on the issue of abortion. Yet she didn't even have wit enough to follow Cuomo's lead of separating her faith from her politics. And she claimed to be an "ardent, practicising Catholic"! Wish Tim Russert were still here. He never would have let her get away with that.
