Did anyone stay up for the speeches? Wonder how it went... I saw Pelosi, man was she lame. I could have given a better speech. M. Obama was pretty good IMO. She came across a bit contrived, but the speech was delivered impeccably. At the end, Barack was brought in by video for a very attractive a cute moment with the kids. I would say that portion of the night went well. The high point, in my mind, was clearly Kennedy's speech. If one is a liberal, there is no finer moment than Teddy rising from his death bed to deliver one last firey speech at a national convention. He did a great job. Pelosi and Jesse Jr were both weak, I thought. Pelosi, the weakest. I cannot imagine that the Dems can't come up with better leadership than Pelosi and Reid. They missed a real opportunity with Harold Ford.

Did anyone stay up for the speeches? Stay up? The convention ends at 10. Wonder how it went... I saw Pelosi, man was she lame. I could have given a better speech. First time I have ever watched a convention. I've seen M.Obama speak......good but not one of her better ones. Ted Kennedy.....he made me proud. HRC.....hate to admit it but she hit a grand slam. I was at the gym for that one. There were nearly 20 people watching in the reception area...quite amazing for a gym crowd. That's it.
