Conventions are scripted. They do it weeks in advance.

Michelle's speech was one that she has repeated on the campaign trail and one that she likely practiced many times----practiced being a word for rehearsed-----either before others or before a mirror----and in the auditorium in which she spoke.

She likely had a personal coach or two given the resources of the Obama campaign--------including choosing the color of the dress she wore to compliment her complexion and her hair done meticulously for the speech.

In her speech the main thing she never got off of was Obama being a Community Organizer in Southside Chicago as a major credential for the Presidency.

This may sell in Southside Chicago; however, will not sell to mainstream America.

Exactly, good point. Many libs have difficulty separating Hollywood fantasy from reality. The pattern is so consistently identifiable when comparing Repub & Dem personalities, that it's almost a short cut to understanding what makes a lib tick.

Bill Clinton's obsession with Hollywood was a warning shot across the bow that his presidential credentials could be compromised by his emotional frailty. When someone refers to a film rather than history, in a political discussion, you can be almost 100% certain that person is a registered Democrat. They focus on feelings rather than facts. It explains why their nominees are usually more flash than substance.

>There are lots of movies that bring tears to peoples eyes but it is only fiction.<
