fxstreet.com

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The EUR/USD has collapsed over 100 pips its lowest close in last 6 months at 1.4581 after the release of the German Ifo data that was worse than expectations. (Actual 94.8 vs Forecast). The data suggests that the Euro-zone would deteriorate into a full-scale slump. or We may see the ECB's surprise cut next week.

Technically speaking, immediate support was seen at 1.4581. Although CCI positive divergence is seen, bearish momentum is quite strong. If the pair breaks the current support, 1.4530/40 and 1.4430 would be considered. On the other had, if the pair gets a good support from here, 1.4660/70 and 1.4700 might b seen in the later sessions.
