Power ties went from red in the '80s to gold/yellow in the late '90s. Orange seems to have become the fashionable power color in the last couple of years -- even for us men who aren't "Autumn" in the color game, apparently. We'll have to look at the ties Clinton, Biden, Obama, Bush, Romney (hopefully), and McCain are wearing to get an idea of the current power-color trend, if any. I predict orange, light blue and violet will be among them the colors.
