Amusing that TJ 'flicks aside' oncoming steam rollers and hides inside ElM's club house for disaffected aliens to reply to generously-offered information.

Prediction = people in China have clone-thinking [according to TJ and others from Clonesville]. Therefore TJ thinking = China thinking. Therefore China will persevere with TD-SCDMA in the face of reality and do as China does = continue the 1000 year 'accident'. Some would say that after 20 years, something is no accident. After 100 years it's a trend. After 400 years it's a fact. After 1000 years it's geologically embedded.

People in China will therefore need to escape China to do well, other than those who can get on top of enough local yokels and yoke them to serfdom to serve the good of the greater rather than the greater good.

It's true that 3 people in a news report don't constitute a scientifically sound peer reviewed study of TD-SCDMA performance and prospects. Recommendation to TJ = hand over large investment to TD-SCDMA developers if you think CDMA with Chinese characteristics is going to be a success.

Giggle... dismissive wave of hand to China and TD-SCDMA.
