Being able to use a computer shows ones intellectual abilites and their curiosity. McCain appears to me to be a dullard. How come the dullard got the surge right and the computer savvy young sprout got it wrong? We should have done like the Israels' did after the Munich attack and put a special team together and gone out and killed bin laden! Our intelligence services aren't as good as the Israelis. Our invading Iraq was just like Pickets charge and Custers debacle. It was stupid MILITARILY. Apart from the fact we eliminated Saddam, who'd started two wars and would have started more if he'd had the chance, we diverted the jihadis from attacking our homeland and caused them to wage a war on their own home ground where their tactics (of slaughtering civilians) made them look bad to the Arab world. Iraq was a brush fire and we should have let Europe handle them. Europe (w/ the exception of Britain) wasn't involved with Iraq, we were. And we were accused of killing 50K Iraqi children a year - most of the Arab world believed this and hated us for it. Even UN officials were attacking us over this. We took away the counter to Iran Iraq wasn't a counter to Iran as long as we were enforcing the UN sanctions. To release the UN sanctions would free Iraq to start more wars and develop their own nukes. The shia in Iraq thank us every day for taking out their enemy, the Sunnie, and now that the Shia have the Sunnie beat down they want us to leave so they can finish the job of pay back to the Sunnie for the 30 years they sufferd under sadam; and then they will go after the kurds in the north to get their oil. And the clerics will run iraq. There will be no democracy and Iraq and iran will join hands against the US. Russia in the meantime will put missles in iran and syria, You don't possess a crystal ball. This is all speculation. botched everything we can do nothing short of nuclear war to counter russia. Do you think we would have countered Russia in Georgia conventionally if not for Iraq? Is anyone supposed to believe any of you liberals want a confrontation with Russia? Would support a more militant stance toward them, would support conventional military action against them? Thats unbelievable. Invading iraq was very very stupid from a military point of view. Sun Tzu, I expect, would have focused on Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. In that order. Iraq probably would not have even been on his radar! I find it hilarious when liberals pretend to be military strategists. Sun Tzu! What would Sun Tzu have done? I'm talking concrete actions and policies, not something meaningless like "focus on".

Where do you get off insulting Ike's patriotism? On another thread you posted this: Ike embraced Joe mcarthy, hooked upo with Nixon and didn't tell us about the military industrial complex until he left office. A true patriot would have done something about it when he was in office! Why do you liberals object to your patriotism being doubted then turn around and attack the patriotism of heroic figures like Eisenhower?

What are you going on about? You not going on like a Dem, that's for sure. You are going on like a big skeerdie about the big bad Russia. You think they barbarians? And what does the internet have to do with anything? Sun Tzu was trumped by the founder of the art of peace awhile back. Not sure why you keep touting a way of war as a way of life.
