Yes, that's my hope too. In a positive scenario they continue
boiling the frog for some time, with all asset classes
underperforming inflation for some time, while the real economy
starts shifting back to the US, and the debt levels come
down in part through savings, in part through monetization.

The dollar moves higher as the prospect of Fed hikes disappears
until Summer 2009. Beautiful - just what they wanted. If this
is global recession, so be it.
The lesson for ECB: prop the markets, don't be too tight, pump
the bubbles. When markets fall, do a 200 bp. emergency
cut. Act as irresponsibly as you can -g-
