My guess is that the liberal dems pulling away from Obama are jewish voters who feel McCain will protect Israel better. we can see that in Florida. I have zillions of Jewish friends and they generally vote liberal.

Lieberman is Israels vote in the senate and so if he feels McCain is better for Israel, or wants McCain, Jews may decide to vote for McCain. lieberman votes almost straight liberal except for this war.

McCain may well win.
