didn't we have a post that free range was no different in quality of eggs.. i believe that was covered some place. i just forget about yolk it has more calories, but not sure about cholest, being a problem or that was disproved in the last year or so.

That's always a possibility. I tend to over-analyze sometimes. <g>

But considering that we take fish oil for the Omega 3 and rely on that to do us some good, I wonder what's the point if we're going to undo that by counteracting it with a ton of Omega 6.

One regular egg has 537 mg more Omega 6 than Omega 3. It would take two of your lower-potency Omega 3 caps to make up for that difference, assuming even balance. Eat two eggs and you're in deficit, or even if you shoot for the oft-recommnded 2-1 ratio. Seems to me that warrants some attention. And perhaps another daily Omega 3 cap.
