Elmat,am back in US.Brazil is growing, poverty down greatly, crime, except Rio is down, and cost of living in US $ up X3 in last 6 years. My friend who 6-8 years ago shut his iron mine down, as ore was not high grade, and later reopened as prices rose, but could not export as Valle would not let him use any rail cars to the coast, just sold the mine for 60 million $ I hear.Real estate is a no loser for a Brazilian but in $ a likely wash over the next several years.Brazil has been able to survive with a high value currency as it was still competitive against the Euro, but is less so now.I still expect the real will fall 20% in $ in the near future.
