We are on the verge of a monster depression. The feds will have to bail out all three auto companies and god only knows what else. And we are going to run a one half trillion deficit this year and I predict a trillion dollars next based on what I see right now; and few left to borrow from. We owe china 1.4 trillion dollars and Russia 400 billion. We will need to print money which will feed the fires of inflation. Feds are stuck and cannot raise interest rates even in the face of mounting inflation. The feds are in a box and so are we unless we figure out intelligent solutions.
