"Fear grips immigrants after Miss. plant raid
Wednesday August 27, 7:06 am ET
By Holbrook Mohr, Associated Press Writer
Immigrant community in fear after nearly 600 detained in southern Miss. ICE raid"

Note that the title of this article refers to immigrants.

If they are immigrants, legally, there is nothing to fear.

If they are here illegally then they have been caught and the employers have been caught.

If they are legal immigrants, theoretically they would have the various credentials including health credentials to work in factories handling food processing.

If they are illegal non-immigrants, could it be that they pose a health risk to those buying food products from these plants if these folks have not been checked for communicable diseases such as TB.

This is both an immigration issue as well a health issue for all of us.
