AMAT? Really?

AMAT's solar biz is indeed sunny and thriving plus it has lots of recent solar patents issued in the past few years and more in the pipeline but the semiconductor biz sucks. Its share price rangebound thanks to semi. It cannot abandon it without incurring huge losses. Years of competing with Intel have done a lot of damage.
