Borking Roberts and specifically Alito is the realm of many ordinary democrats. I strongly disagree with either party blocking qualified candidates. Having said that the court shouldnt become the ideological home for right or for left. Bork was beyond the pale because he was a literalist as well as a strict constructionist but i had no problems with the roberts or alito as strict constructionists playing within the sandbox unlike Bork.

The abortion position for example, was the most extreme I've ever heard of -- actually voting to deny care to a child who survived a botched abortion. He was, supposedly, the only person who didn't support the measure.

What the hell are you saying here? And provide a creditable link to support such an outrageous statement.....please.
