Kenneth and his cadre of impressionable Cub Scouts likely manned the phones!

From "Obama campaign turns thuggish"

"Instead the Obama campaign initiated an attack the likes of which veteran broadcaster (and University of Chicago professor) Milt Rosenberg has not seen in his 30 years on the air. Constant emails and phone calls -- jamming the lines at a minimum and perhaps trying to chill free speech. Would Barack Obamam the "consitutional law professor" (lecturer, actually) approve of this message -- that free speech should be harassed into silence?"

This is the same tactic that is being used by other lists such as Emily's List.

Emily's doesn't accept political contributions. Yet, they profile political women candidates, women who only support abortion, and direct you to the candidates web site to contribute money. (With a profile given of the candidate, these go nationwide.)

These messages always have an urgent message to contribute now to defeat this ogre whom they are running against.

Occassionally the messages changes to 'sign this petition that will go to xyz who has just said such and such(not pc) or to protest some legislation-----but they allow no way to override their scripted message and let women give their honest personal opinions.

Emily's also provides no way of contacting them personally to disagree with them or to agree with them. Appears, they don't want to hear other opinions.

In other words, they protect themselves from the spamming and jamming but advocate it for radio stations and Congressman those they hope to influence. (Oh, yes they do lobby!)

How do I know, I signed up for their e-mail service which can be signed up for at no cost. The only way I can then communicate with them is to unsubscribe.
