Mish needs to show that he can trot out objective critics if he wants to show both sides of the coin. Nadler is anti-gold period, pro administration period, pro USD and in favor of low oil prices.

"Belief is paramount for the conspiracy adherent, and rational thought is suspended in exchange."

Either a person stands for something or he doesn't. To not stand for something when it comes to investing usually results in a person investing in something destructive to the planet. People who invest ethically do NOT invest in anything USA or dollar related. If I need to explain why I feel this way then I won't waste my time trying to.

By the way rational is not the proper word as some say it means:
"Agreeable to reason; not absurd, preposterous, extravagant, foolish, fanciful, or the like; wise; judicious; as, rational conduct; a rational man. "

SOOOOOO the word rational denotes opinion NOT Fact and thus what is rational to one is not to another based on their beliefs and opinions. So no one can judge whether it is truth or not, just opinion.

I don't have an informed opinion over whether or not the price of gold/silver are being manipulated but to suggest that a conspiracy is an extremely low odds probability is absurd. There's about $20 trillion of vested interest in suppressing objective inflation touchstones like gold/silver. Some people are killed for their $80 Nike sneakers.
