China doesn't have a monopoly on fraud. I hope they didn't pay the fake orchestra for their non-performance.

There have been discussions about NZ hosting the Olympic Games, but I'm happier if we don't. But as I wrote in a previous post, we could hire Weta Workshops who did Lord of the Rings to put the Olympic Games on somewhere like Mars. They could digitally clear a huge area of downtown Auckland and put in a crowded stadium holding 1 million people from around the world.

They could use real people, live, who put a camera in their living rooms. Their images could be digitally enhanced and placed in the stadium to show actual crowd reaction.

Athletes could compete from home, actually running, swimming etc, with cameras digitally plugging them into the overall picture.

Everyone could compete because there would be no limit to the number of competitors. Hundreds of heats could be held.

MediaFLO could deliver the images to anywhere on Earth via Qualcomm powered cDMA/OFDMA cyberphones.

People wouldn't need to stop what they are doing - they could watch from anywhere. With Mirasol displays, they could be outside in bright sunshine [screens normally get washed out in sunlight]. With Mirasol, the brighter the better.

They wouldn't be able to watch in China because they will be locked up in Serfland behind TD-SCDMA [another fake thing from China].
