Obama looked irritated when he should have been triumphant, and the speech sounded defensive

He seemed to set an angry tone for me also, which didn't mix well with the idea of hope.

Matthews and Olbermann gushed so much over the speech on MSNBC that even the Obama-supporting liberals at TNR said they wondered if it was an SNL skit. Beyond self-parody, they said.

it was bad i agree. and it takes away from any serious journalism they still have left.
