I've also heard Eric Cantor (Chief Deputy Whip) mentioned as a dark horse. I must say, McCain is doing an excellent job keeping his choice under wraps.

Not there: Palin, Pawlenty, Whitman, Romney. Where's Rob Portman?

Well, CNN is claiming Palin IS in Ohio based on witnesses that saw a woman get out of a private plane from Alaska last night, while ABC is claiming they heard from a spokesman that she is not. There is no national media in Alaska (they are all leaving Denver or in Ohio) so nobody knows much.

So who is wrong - CNN or ABC? - neither is that great at doing the news.

There are many of us that feel that having a woman as POTUS or Vice President is a big positive historic step forward for the country. Wouldn't it be better for that historic woman to be Sarah Palin rather than the Hillary beast?
