Palin may be an interesting "anti-establishment" candidate but I'm not sure how McCain has time to properly introduce her...and is she ready to be president right now...?? She has some management experience but what about any foreign policy experience...?? McCain has had cancer and is over 70 -- his running mate must truly be ready to take over RIGHT NOW...virtually all Americans would agree that Joe Biden is "a heavyweight" with over 30 years of experience...the way Obama has conducted his campaign so far says a lot about his judgement.

My goodness, we have a resident expert here on Palin..I've been impressed by the few appearances that I've seen and her fight to the oil companies but a match for Biden? Someone 51.% of Americans will get comfortable with in the next few weeks being a heart beat away from the 3am phone call?...

My first reaction is this is a fantastic opportunity for her career, her future but she can't help him win the heartland...

And she did all this in 18 months as Governor. What do you mean by "She made all the republican legislators who were indicted for taking oil bribes quit." Quit what. How did she do it? Told them to resign from the legislature etc. etc.

since many of us do not know much about her, we would like to know specifics, particularly at a time and situation (John McCain's case) when the VP is very important.

I cannot even think how effective she will be as the Chair of the Senate going up against all those powerful women in the Senate, leave alone the men.
