I would hope that the MSM media would demand from McCain, his criteria for arriving at his decision. This decision making capability is very important particularly after the biggest bungled decision of our times: the decision to invade Iraq and why the current Administration thought that it was more important to attack Iraq by abandoning the efforts to hunt down Osama and his terrorist band.

Of course McCain shows poor judgement in selecting Sarah Palin as VP. She does not even know that a VP does (watch youtube video interview with Larry Kudlow).

Under the Constitution, the VP doesn't do much of anything except take over if the president is incapacitated. The VP has the power to break a tie vote in the Senate, but there is no requirement to do so. I think she was intentionally being funny, but in a literal sense, she was exactly right. A VP doesn't do much. She was indicating that she'd have to hear more about the particular job opportunity before being willing to take it.
