A town in Alaska of 6,500 people might have one restaurant and one grocery store but no newspaper likely. I've been to Alaska a number of times(I love the Aurora Borrhealis and Denali) but there isn't much there otherwise.

I know Wasilla. It's a whole in the ground. You have to travel to Anchorage(which isn't much) to find your basic needs like toilette paper, groceries, bathroom fixtures etc...people are scattered everywhere in Wasilla...
