I'm judging Obama on what he has and hasn't done so far. I'm not giving him credit for things he might do someday in the future. I figure his record is the best judge of what he'll really do.

Obama will run this country from the center and the dem congress will either fight him or heel.

Where is the sign he will do that? Where has he gone against the left in the past?

And then there is putting the race thing to bed in this country once and for all.

It wont happen. First, he'll lose and racism will be said to be the reason by the left. Second, if he won he'd be a failure. And that would be blamed on racism too.

The first black President will be a Republican. Just like the first black Secretary of State, the first black NSA director, the first black head of the Joint Chiefs ....

There was a 100 year old black women shown in one of the cities. That womens mom was a slave. Try to think how you would feel today if you were the son or daughter or grandson or granddaughter of a slave?

Obama doesn't do a thing for me. When I heard Jeremiah Wright shouting God Damn America to the cheers of his congregation, I said what the hell is a child raised in a white family in HA doing in a place like that? (I thought he was basically a nice guy till then.) But something is very wrong with Obama. On one side of my family tree, I have ancestors who were slaves ... though I don't know how long ago - they were free before the Civil war I do know. My grandfather was the son of a sharecropper and in his youth (in Hope Arkansas of all places) knew an old man who'd been a slave - had been put on the block and sold. My closest connection to slavery. Time to get over it. Its the 21st century. Bury the past.
