One of the big WS supporters of McCain just now on CNBC said that he was astounded that McCain had picked such a "lightweight".

You clowns are having another Harriet Meirs moment. You better hope Gustav washes out your convention.

My original point was that it negated one of McCain's main attacks - Obama's inexperience. Even McCain has previously acknowledge that, because of his age, his VP choice was critical. Looks like he whiffed; at a minimum, he lost a crucial line of attack, and may have even opened the reverse attack on his candidacy.
