That's the kind of statement Obama should have made, especially after his successful convention. Instead, he went down the ugly divisive, politics of personal destruction path of the liberal far left.

The more we see Obama, the more his positions and responses become predictable. There is nothing different between he and the rest of the inner liberal left.

Shumer, Obama, Pelosi, Reid etc. Same thinking, same lack of reaching across the aisle and same lack of leadership.

Hillary is secretly hoping for a Palin/Hillary contest for President in 12.

Hillary was more gracious.

It was nice that she congratulated Palin. But gracious? No way. She had to get her licks in about McCain/Palin "taking America in the wrong direction".

Palin, on the other hand, offered a a very positive and non political congratulatory comment about Ferraro and Clinton in her Dayton acceptance speech. She did not dig the democrats. She is class and Clinton is an ass.
