Steps on the story of Obama's speech (and convention), and possibly the bounce coming from them, and wipes them off the news cycle. Not on my homepage. I use Iwon because I like its organization, and it gets its news from the AP. Around 3pm it got around to showing the story about Palin's selection. When I got home just now (about 8pm) these were the top stories: Top News - Associated Press Aug 29, 8:06 pm ET • Obama's speech seen by 38 million-plus viewers • A hurricane again, Gustav plows toward Caymans • John Edwards to emerge from seclusion for speech • Source: Petraeus submitted preliminary Iraq report Gee. John Edwards is of more importance than the choice of a woman for the Republican candidate for Vice-President? Riiiight. And, of course, it's had an article about the Dem Convention continally in spot 1 or 2 since last night.
