Palin came in 2nd in the 1984 Miss Alaska contest, losing to an hotter, more talented African-American. Her swimsuit competition photos have been scrubbed from the internet. (They're bound to surface anyway eventually)

The (R)'s also tried to edit her Wikipedia entry to make it more favorable, but the Wiki editors caught them at it.

I get the feeling McSame did this on the spur of the moment, thinking he could grab some Hillary voters. Palin probably hasn't been throughly vetted for a national campaign, and some skeletons may be discovered in her closet.

You got it.

She's a strong woman weak men are scared of, a real woman America can use as a leader, not from the mold of Biden, Obama, Hillary, algore, Pelosi, Reid.....

I think by Sunday, the "just as inexperienced as Obama is" attack will have been polled to show as failed, and a new turd will be pitched. Probably something irrelevant and disgusting the DNC politburo has had enough time over the weekend to dig up.

Predictable.

Fox has put it together...

elections.foxnews.com

Barack Obama’s spokesman fired off a fast criticism of Republican John McCain’s new running mate Friday, but the Democratic candidate himself quickly stepped in to offer her congratulations and praise.

Obama, who is eager to win over female voters who backed his rival Hillary Rodham Clinton in the primaries, blamed the mixed messages about McCain’s choice, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, on campaign aides with a “hair trigger.”

He and his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, followed up with congratulatory phone calls to Palin.

Campaign aides of politicians who have no business as leaders of the greatest country in the world.

Palin Ad Starring Ted Stevens Already Scrubbed From Palin's Campaign Website

By Greg Sargent - August 29, 2008, 1:58PM

That was quick. This morning, an ad from Sarah Palin's 2006 gubernatorial campaign featuring an endorsement from scandal-plagued Alaska Senator Ted Stevens was available on Palin's campaign Web site.

We were able to access it ourselves by clicking on the link:

...but now the Stevens ad has already been scrubbed. The link is no longer on her campaign site.

Luckily, the ad featuring Stevens and Palin is still available for your viewing pleasure!

Ah, the miracles of YouTube...[see the ad]

Ten

You're right about the liberal playbook, but honestly, these people seem to be making a big mistake by underestimating this woman.

True, she doesn't have a lot of experience, but she certainly has more than Obama. Obama is a damned fool, and is BEYOND arrogant if he thinks HE has the background to challenge HER experience.

I believe McCain really shocked them with this choice and totally caught them off guard.

As to Z's remark, WTF does it have to do with her qualification for the office if she is a "creationist"?
