She is a mystery to all of us-lol. All we know is she took down a bunch of crooks, smashed the old republican guard (Wally Hickel an ex conservative governor and maverick is her parton) overhauled the ethics rules in the legislature, scared hell out of Juneau that she might move the capital to Anchorage and she if very pro life, pro gun and very right wing. And she canceled the road out of Juneau-lo. She is the first governor to not move to the capitol, but stays in Wassila her home town. She has been allowing captitol creep i.e. moving jobs from the capitol to Anchorage. They call her Sarah Barracuda-lol.

nearly every photo I have seen of her.....even one on the cover of some magazine.....she has had her glasses on. Is it a signature trademark of hers? She must do it to keep the wolves at bay. Otherwise she'd look like this:
