Where I live it is about 28 in the winter almost never getting below zero and about 60 to 80 in the summer. Soem winters I can ride my bike right through winter. We all look ten years younger than we are because so little sun hits our skin-lol. The wildlife is starkly different. Abundant. I used to like to fish off the California coast. The last time I fished there 3 of 5 ling cod I caught were undersized. Off the coast of Alaska one can catch a king salmon every 30 minutes, huge ling cod 20 to 70 lbs and halibut 10 to 300 lbs constantly and it is hard to keep large delicious rock fish like yellow eye and calico off your hook. It is so wild and beautiful. And pristine.
