every thing russia does is a contrivance to further its attempt to push itself back to its old identity. russia hasnt done a responsible thing in the last four years, its a facilitator for the peak oil myth, its intent is to place itself at the center of extortion.....a methodology designed into putins russia, its considered a big advantage in the absence of any integrity.
russia is a dysfunctional society/economy where the few extort the many, its built into the psyche of russias control units.

Norman Angell’s Revenge»

Obviously, being connected to the world of international commerce hasn’t stopped Russia from throwing its weight around on the world stage in some malign ways. But on the other hand, it looks like there really has been a price to pay for Russian companies in terms of declining stock values. One hopes that’ll create some incentive for Russian elites to think twice next time something of this sort is under consideration.
