People watched, but as usual he said the same tired change doctrine, with and as usual there was no substance. I watched, but more like watching a NASCAR race for the wrecks, and there were plenty. 6 Months from now many will remember the setting, remember the crowds and ALL the fanfare. But THAT speech will long be forgotten, there was nothing magical about it. It was barely average for OB. And all because the emperor (OB) has no clothes.

McCain's decision was geared towards securing votes. Obama's was to fortify the requirements of a President's job.

Ahhh...no it wasn't, his choice (OB's) was for exactly the same reason. He had to make that choice, he certainly couldn't have made a choice with someone like McCain's, else he would have lost the election sooner than yesterday.
