quehubo, I'm not totally certain why, but somehow you want to ignore the fact that Obama has actually thought about Iraq, about foreign policy, about the process of governing, about politics in the country as a whole. Palin, on the other hand, said that she "hasn't thought much about Iraq."

Do you actually think that a person who hasn't thought much about iraq by the year 2008 should be on a presidential ticket? Do you actually think that a person who has spent the vast majority of her life in a small town in Alaska should be on a presidential ticket? That isn't saying anything bad about small towns in Alaska--it is just to point out that Alaska is a very different place from the Lower 48. It is unique. It is a state that prides itself on rugged individualism while being virtually socialist in how it actually manages itself, thanks to its vast oil revenues and the pork that its oh so capitalist Washington legistors Stevens and Young manage to get year after year.

I guess you haven't read about how Palin told Washington that she didn't want the Bridge to Nowhere--she still took the money, and only decided not to build it after it created such a ruckus in the press. Very cute. She definitely has some good Alaskan/Washington/Stevens/Young instincts. I guess I should take back what I said above about small towns in AK, at least when it comes to pork.

I didn't think he was inexperienced. He has gone to law school and understands how our government and the law works- Ms. Palin has a degree in journalism. Obama has competed with the brightest minds in the country. Ms Palin went to Idaho. Mr.Obama spent his time working in one of the biggest cities in this country- and he observed the problems of our large cities first hand and on the ground. Ms. Palin meanwhile ran a snowmobile business, fished, and was mayor of a town of 7000.

Um, I'm REALLY not seeing a favorable comparison for Ms. Palin. For a little girl of the back woods no doubt the plucky lass has done well for her beautiful little self- and aren't we all proud of her for being a beauty queen- but frankly it's not an impressive presidential resume (for me). You may like it- but I can't imagine why.

I read your posts and then I wonder how you are able to think the way that you do. However, you probably think the same about me so it's always a draw...

We just never seem to agree.. Sounds like one political team against another.

You see I thought you had inferred that a woman who is undecided just might vote for McCain since he has a woman on the ticket. Then you apparently reverse yourself.

And it's always Obama or Biden who have poor judgement..

Would you not think that in all matters no one has completely infallible judgement but for me my team wins on that score.

But that is how I think. You think differently. That is O.K but baffling to me.
